The four rooms on the upper level are clean and well-maintained, in their original style but with all of the same amenities.
The hotel is centrally located near the heart of Uvita and the many attractions in the area. It is directly off the Costanera highway and for many, this is a bonus. Getting to and from where needed is very convenient, while the property grounds are surrounded by lush jungle that backs up to the beach. Guests can enjoy an array of activities on-site or in the surroundings, including hiking, snorkeling, and fishing.
The property is serene, well-kept, and the floral landscaping is always a joy to behold. But the guest favorite is the 6-minute walk through a jungle path to get to a secluded strip of beach that is everything that people love about Costa Rica – pristine and natural. The quick walk to the deserted beach lends to guests often enjoying a morning soak in the clean ocean water.
The low-maintenance fiberglass pool is large and has an abundant deck with many loungers and shade umbrellas. The pool is nestled away from the rooms in a stunning setting surrounded by tropical plants. Monkeys pass by overhead on many occasions while guests are swimming.
This shared guest area is equipped with an outdoor-accessed guest bathroom. There is lots of land surrounding this area where you could build a rancho with a kitchen and BBQ area for easy outdoor entertaining.
The garden view from the guest terraces shows the splendor of tropical wildlife. Brightly colored butterflies and birds dip in and out of the trees and create a wonderful background ambiance of chirps and whistles.
The property has numerous storage facilities throughout, with onsite laundry, workshop, pool house, gardening equipment storage, and two offices for managing the business. This place was built for function and flow, with daily operations well-considered in the design of the property.
The rental history is exceptional and all financials are available to qualified buyers. Guest reviews have been built up over years and the guest ratings are very good for this area.
The Owner’s Home
The private residence ideal for an owner/manager couple is located at the back of the vast property, away from the guest areas. The two-bedroom, one-bathroom home features an outdoor kitchen that looks out on the gorgeous jungle view with the sounds of the river in the background. This rustic private home will benefit from an update but being located so close to the beach is unbeatable and worth the effort to rejuvenate this space and create an amazing living situation as the owner/manager of the property.
Samsara Restaurant
The forty-seat onsite restaurant borders the highway with fantastic exposure to tourism traffic in Uvita. The restaurant is fully licensed to serve alcoholic beverages and has all of the necessary traits to operate a business. The menu currently features delicious Cuban food for lunch and dinner and serves an all-inclusive breakfast to guests of the hotel.
This restaurant is barely advertised and has the potential to be a truly amazing addition to the roster of international delights available in this world-renown culinary region of Costa Rica.

The stunning nature-filled property is only a short walk to the Marino Ballena National Park. This protected area is home to abundant wildlife and most guests have sightings of howler monkeys, capuchins, iguanas, scarlet macaws, and so much more. The river that crosses the property, the various fruit trees, and the floral landscaping all draw nature to the property and bring opportunities for incredible guest interactions.
There are additional buildable areas at the far end of the property that is currently undeveloped but has the potential to increase road frontage for the business or another commercial opportunity.
